3 Italian Easter Recipes You Have to Make

Buona Pasqua and Happy Easter to all those who celebrate! Here are a few of my favorite Easter recipes so you can celebrate the holiday like an Italian this weekend. Hint: it involves lots of pasta.

Nonna’s Pasta Cake

This is the only kind of Easter surprise I need. This Southern Italian specialty is made by combining cooked pasta with a sweetened custard that is flavored with rose water and orange blossom water for a lovely spring flavor. Here’s the recipe; it will make your home smell *just gorgeous*

 

Roasted Rack of Lamb

When you carve this beautiful rack of lamb tableside, you’ll feel like the Goddess of Spring herself. This recipe is super simple, but don’t skip the marinade. That will make the lamb succulent and juicy, just like you are.

Italian Mac & Cheese Bake

Mac & Cheese is the perfect accompaniment for your Easter main course.  The secret to my Nonna’s recipe is all in the sauce, which is made from classic bechamel.
