The Pasta Queen Kitchen

My kitchen is the heart and soul of my home. It’s where I nourish my family, where I make my morning caffé and where I get to share my family's recipes with the world. I spend most of my time around the gorgeous custom island created by my friends at Officine Gullo. Officine Gullo handcrafts bespoke kitchens and absolutely gorgeous appliances in Florence. On my island I have 6 burners, two ovens and of course a dedicated pasta cooker. Within the island there is ample storage for all of my favorite pasta tools, as well as baking trays for lasagna and more family favorites. The hood not only functions to eliminate steam, smoke and odors, it also serves as a pot rack and storage center for the cookware I use on a daily basis.

My favorite part of the kitchen is the pasta station.

Offline Gullo created a custom pasta board that tucks away neatly into my island like a drawer. I come from a long line of pasta makers, dating back to the 1800s. This board makes me feel connected with my family and my homeland. When it’s time to make a batch of pasta I simply pull the board out and secure it to the top of the island which eliminates any sliding while I knead and shape the pasta by hand.

Last but certainly not least, the fridge.

I have a side by side fridge and freezer that anchors the kitchen in the Officine Gullo signature blue and gold. It stores all of my essentials, while looking just gorgeous in the process.

While I believe that if you cook with love, you can make the most of any kitchen space, I feel so blessed to be able to cook in this dream kitchen on a daily basis. If you would like to learn more about this amazing brand, you can locate a showroom near you here.
